Monroe’s new Album out now on iTunes & Spotify!

Pacific Records artist Monroe has released a new EP, “The Streetlight” featuring the single “One More Night”, available now on iTunes and Spotify. This is Monroe’s first studio release with Pacific Records since joining the San Diego-based label in February. “I couldn’t have picked a better team to work with to tell the story of this EP,” says Monroe. “The music is so personal to me and it feels great to have a team like everyone at Pacific to help bring it to the world.” Monroe is a New York-based rock artist who has played keys and saxophone with Brandon Flowers of The Killers on Flowers’ “Desired Effect” world tour, performing at major festivals across the nation like Life is Beautiful, Bumbershoot and Austin City Limits. In addition, his impressive and growing repertoire contains glowing reviews from the likes of Popdust Magazine and The Alternative Press and even some on-screen work for shows like HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” and CW’s “Gossip Girl”. His highly diverse background on screen, in the studio and on the road show in his EP between the playful innocence of “Carry Me Tonight”, the disheartened pleas of “Ghost Halls”, and the anthemic melody of the title track. “It’s not all about heartbreak or being in love; the record speaks to internal struggles and victories,” says Monroe. “I wrote a bunch of these songs when I was on the road with Brandon Flowers and I think it really showcases how I have transformed as a musician, a lyricist and a person.” The single “One More Night” was offered as an instant download to those who pre-ordered the EP beginning on May 25th. The single is a hopeful anthem for underdogs that will “make you feel all sorts of things: from joy to sadness to glee and everything in between.” (Popdust Magazine) You can view the official music video here: http://bit.ly/OMNmusicvideo “The Streetlight” is available on iTunes (bit.ly/thestreetlightitunes) and Spotify (bit.ly/thestreetlightspotify).
