Pacific launches campaign to help artists in need

Pacific Records has launched the “Music Heals” campaign to assist artists with a charity compilation record featuring multiple national acts including Pacific artists Sprung Monkey and O-Town.

A majority of musicians around the nation have suddenly lost their primary sources of revenue, due to industry-wide show cancellations and tour postponements. The goal of the “Music Heals” campaign is to help supplement Artist and musicians lost income, while increasing awareness of those in need from within the music community.

“At the label, we’re taking a proactive approach rather than waiting for the storm to blow over,” says Brian Witkin, CEO of Pacific Records.

“Music Heals” will culminate in a charity compilation album featuring artists both on and off the label, which so far includes two of Pacific’s national acts Sprung Monkey and O-Town, and is slated to be released at the beginning of this summer. Proceeds will benefit artists in need.
