Notable Press Coverage:

1.               EP RELEASE

The plan is to release the EP on November 10 (Marine Corps birthday) or November 11 (Veterans Day).  We’re leaning towards Veterans Day, considering the music is by veterans and for veterans from all branches of service.

2.             SOCIAL MEDIA
The video for the Travis Manion Foundation will go live via social media (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and Twitter) the day the EP is released on iTunes.  The team is currently working on a number promo spots that will also be released through social media.

3.             CELEBRITY HELP VIA SOCIAL MEDIA (actors/musicians/sports figures)

The team a list of people and is in the process of reaching out to that could possibly help get the word out.
The plan is to reach out to as many celebrity types as possible and ask them to help support the cause through social media, tweeting, Instagram, Facebook etc.  This would coincide with the release date of the EP.

4.           BENEFIT CONCERT EVENT/EP RELEASE PARTY

Set up a benefit/EP release show in Hollywood for the Travis Manion Foundation and invite as many industry people as possible.  This would entail a John Preston performance, presentations by the Travis Manion Foundation, and perhaps enlisting other entertainers to perform, music, comedians, etc.

5.             THE SILENT WAR:  A DOCUMENTARY FILM SERIES

Working with DIRECTV ENTERTAINMENT for a 3 part documentary series, covering 2 vets in each 30-minute segment/episode.  Each episode to end with a plug for the Travis Manion Foundation.
6.             PRESS

The team is also going to look for press coverage as well… print and TV to see if there’s an interest in doing a story on these guys and what they’re trying to do.  Once again, if we get enough vocal support from celebrities, it would make the press coverage easier to obtain.

One important aspect about this whole thing is… we do not want this to be political.  It is not about politics.  It is about helping our veterans.  Period
