A Little Bit More Insensitive

A Little Bit More Insensitive

I never thought my heart could ever feel so bad
Why would you wanna make me feel that way
You are by far the best and worst I’ve ever had
Ah, Those little reminders that brighten up my day

But I still believe in the care we all need
When choosing to wear what I do on my sleeve
How can you say jump, and just let me fall
How can you speak and say nothing at all

I’m not running, not been done in
By the wounds of ancient history
All I did was trust feelings you could not give
But you can be sure, there’s been a detour
Like this advice for you on how to live
Maybe you could be, a little bit more insensitive

I can tell you’re surprised by the reaction
But I would have expected nothing less from you
Can’t solve your problems only by subtraction
Guess that’s what the numbness teaches you to do
