The Anthem continues to gain momentum following substantial press coverage, live performances, and in-arena appearance
SAN DIEGO, Calif. Dec 31, 2025 — Pacific Records, Inc. is proud to announce the release of the official music video for “Rise Up San Diego,” the official anthem of the San Diego Gulls. The video premieres today on the San Diego Gulls’ official YouTube channel, bringing the song’s message of unity, resilience, and team pride to life through visuals celebrating the city, the team, and its fans.
The song was originally released earlier this season in conjunction with the Gulls’ Opening Night, “Rise Up San Diego” quickly resonated with the San Diego community, generating local press coverage and fan engagement across multiple platforms. Since its debut, artist Eric Sage has performed the song live on television for numerous stations including CBS 8, Fox 5 and KUSI. In addition Sage has performed the song at a San Diego Gulls home game in addition to a national anthem performance at the San Diego Sports Arena (Pechenga Arena), further cementing the song’s role in the team’s game-day experience.
Written as a rallying anthem for the city and its hockey community, “Rise Up San Diego” blends stadium-ready rock energy with lyrics designed to inspire and unite fans of all ages. The track was recorded at The Music Company in Pacific Beach, engineered by Jack Pawela, and mixed and mastered by Chris Hobson. The single was produced by Eric Sage and co-produced by Pacific Records CEO Brian A. Witkin.
The newly released music video expands the reach of the anthem, featuring team imagery, fan moments, and behind-the-scenes footage that reflect the spirit of the Gulls and the San Diego community. With its release on the Gulls’ official YouTube channel, the video offers fans a new way to engage with the anthem beyond the arena.
