Pacific Records Festival!

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – On January 7, 2024, Pacific Records will be celebrating its 20th anniversary with a multi-media artist showcase at the Music Box in San Diego. Mixing a rotating cast of guest speakers, videos, and live performances, the afternoon will feature music from a diverse range of artists including:

iTunes top ten chart toppers Shane Hall (#1 Blues Album), Seawall Prophet (debut at #7 Reggae charts), and Slack Key Ohana (#1 World Music Album); Sandollar (reggae favorites, 2023 OB Street Fair headliners and SDMA Best World Music, also featured on Netflix, Fox, and more); izzi delan (upcoming single “Back of my Mind” features the inimitable Robby Krieger of The Doors on electric guitar); The Tourmaliners (surf rockers 2023 Best Rock Album and Pipeline Instrumental Review Album of the Year); Jonny Tarr (soulful R&B funk grooves from 2020 & 2023 SDMA Best Pop Artist); The Moonjacks (rowdy rockers just back from a European tour & recent music placement on Fox’s “Welcome to Flatch”); Manual Scan (powerpop rockers return with their first new music in 30 years); The Spice Pistols (comic book punk rockers, fresh from a tour with Agent Orange); Kela Sako (new artist & rising singer-songwriter, rock to reggae & EDM); and Sean Witkin (multi-instrumentalist employing a unique style of electronic pop with a subtle hint of rock edge).

It’s an early show, with doors at 3 p.m., and also an all-ages event, a great opportunity to immerse yourself in a lot of great music. Look for surprise guests and unique crossover appearances between artists, across genres for a once-in-a-lifetime music experience!
