The Convertibles sign with Pacific Records with debut single “Last October”

Friday, September 20th, 2024:  Indie-rock band The Convertibles have signed with Pacific Records and their debut single with the label titled “Last October” is slated for release on October 4th.

“I’m so excited to welcome The Convertibles to the Pacific Records family. Their excellent songwriting and musicianship are a fantastic addition to the label roster.” –Brian Witkin, CEO Pacific Records

The Convertibles single explores the notion that facing your problems head-on might be more effective than running from them—and a little bit of luck never hurts. The single was recorded at the Foo Fighters’ private Studio, “Studio 606”.

The band will be celebrating their single release with a private listening party in Los Angeles later this month along with a private acoustic show. The band is also slated to perform at the second annual Pacific Records Fest at the Music Box in San Diego California on January 5th, 2025.

About The Convertibles

The Convertibles is Mike Orent and Charlie Lo Presti, two lifelong friends from a small town in Connecticut. Their musical journey began with clandestine basement jam sessions during family dinners, and evolved into live performances at local cafes, backyard BBQs, and beach parties. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue music full-time, The Convertibles emerged, blending vibrant raw energy, expressive bass lines, driving guitars, and lush vocal harmonies.
