Alfa

Add equal parts unique vocals and disarming lyrics, throw in a dash of irresistible melodies, then stir in some East Coast sensibility and you’ll get Alfa – a folk/pop songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who weaves stories of fact and fiction into finely-crafted songs. Music Connection Magazine calls her, “An artist who has a spectrum of colors in her palette, a songwriter with a knack for tickling a mainstream ear.” After moving to Los Angeles in 2011, Alfa worked steadily at her craft, placing songs on MTV, E!, CMJ Top 200, and independent films like “Baby Steps” (from the producer of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”) and “Old Fashioned” (Skoche Films), while touring independently throughout the U.S. and her native Philippines. Alfa is supported by Kawai, Breedlove, Mya-Moe Ukuleles, Fishman, and D’Addario, and performed a demo at the Hal Leonard booth at NAMM 2015 alongside Hamilton Stands. No stranger to live audiences, she has performed in notable venues like Lincoln Center in NYC, Troubadour in West Hollywood, and The Shrine in L.A.
