VB by the Sea is the international rock project of Vidas Bareikis, an award-winning Lithuanian singer-songwriter, composer, actor, and theatre director whose boundary-defying career has made him one of his country’s most celebrated and versatile creative forces.
With more than two decades in entertainment, seven albums, 26 theatrical productions, multiple prestigious music and theatre awards, and sold-out arena performances to his name, Bareikis has built an extraordinary career at the intersection of music, theatre, and visual storytelling. His accolades include Lithuania’s coveted Golden Stage Cross theatre award and multiple M.A.M.A. Awards, the country’s equivalent of the GRAMMYs. Among his most remarkable achievements is a landmark solo arena concert attended by 11,000 fans, celebrating his tenth anniversary on stage.
Never content to be confined by genre, geography, or convention, Bareikis launched VB by the Sea to introduce his singular artistic vision to a global audience. Blending rebellious rock energy, theatrical imagination, irreverent humor, and thought-provoking storytelling, the project represents a bold new chapter for an artist who has spent his career challenging expectations. His first English-language album, HERE AND NOW, was presented in Los Angeles in 2025, laying the foundation for his international expansion.
Now, VB by the Sea is entering a defining new era with his signing to Pacific Records and the release of “NPC,” a genre-defying collaboration with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and ZZ Top legend Billy Gibbons. Arriving November 11, 2026, the single marks his debut release with the label and introduces the imaginative world of THE GAME, an ambitious forthcoming concept album that explores human existence through the metaphor of an elaborate video game. Combining infectious rock music with philosophical curiosity, sharp-witted social commentary, and cinematic storytelling, the project challenges listeners to question the invisible rules governing modern life.
Creatively bridging Lithuania and California, Bareikis continues to collaborate with internationally acclaimed musicians and producers while expanding his artistic reach across music, film, theatre, and live entertainment. A member of the Recording Academy, he approaches each new endeavor with the same fearless originality that has defined his career.
With an impressive legacy already established in Europe and a new international chapter unfolding, VB by the Sea is bringing his unmistakable personality, theatrical ambition, and uncompromising creative spirit to the global rock stage, proving that the most compelling artists are often those who refuse to follow the script.
